What are the best rooms for those who have trouble walking?
We like to describe the atmosphere at Curtain Bluff as the perfect balance between “relaxedand “sophisticated. To maintain that balance, we ask our guests to wear at least shorts and cover-ups at breakfast at the Tamarind Tree restaurant and a shirt/cover-up in the Beach Café & Bar for lunch. In the evening, for dinner at the Tamarind Tree, some people get dressed to the nines but, at minimum, we ask our gentlemen guests to wear long pants (trousers) and a collared polo shirt.
Is there phone and computer access?
For those guests traveling with their computers, tablets, PDAs, etc. there is high-speed and Wi-Fi wireless internet access in all the rooms and the library.
There are two dedicated Media Rooms with a total of five computers, free Internet access and phones, plus a sitting area and wide-screen televisions with VCR, cable and dish networks. Please note: at the request of our guests, there are no TVs in the rooms.
The computers in the Media Room near the Tamarind Tree restaurant are loaded with the latest video games.
Are children welcome at the resort?
Of course. Our staff will bend over backwards to accommodate any special sleeping arrangements (children sharing a room), dietary needs or preferences. All our activities are child-friendly, there are baby-sitters available, and there is even a TV/Games Room where our younger guests can gather, play computer games, Tweet, etc.
Do the restaurants cater to vegetarians?
Yes, every menu has a plenty of non-meat options ranging from delicious salads to fresh-caught fish. If you don’t see what you are looking for, then we will make every effort to serve a dish of your choosing.
Do I need to tip during my stay?
No. One of the main advantages of our all-included-in-the-room-rate pricing (apart from its incredible value) is that you never need to carry money or give a tip from the moment of check-in to departure. At the end of your stay we add a 10% gratuity to your bill.
Please go to WHAT’S INCLUDED to see exactly what your room rate includes (there are only a few exceptions and those are special services). The only other additions are a 12.5% tax charged by the Antiguan government and the 10% gratuity mentioned above. The taxi from the airport costs $US 50 each way for up to four persons.
What are the best rooms for those who have trouble walking?
We suggest you stay in one of the ground-floor Deluxe rooms or Junior Suites.
