The Resort - Giving Back

Back in the days when “green�was just a color, Curtain Bluff recognized its responsibility to give back to its community and preserve its natural surroundings. It has set the standard ever since.

OLD ROAD FUND

The resort’s founders, Howard and Chelle Hulford, started the Old Road Fund in 1974, naming it after the village that sits just outside the resort's gates. Its initial purpose was to supply basic necessities to the community’s neediest families, but it quickly out-grew these modest goals thanks to support from the resort and its guests. ENVIRONMENT

Since most guests only see the “front of house�side of Curtain Bluff, they don’t realize that, behind the scenes, the resort is taking meaningful steps to preserve its beautiful and delicate environment.
